Vaccination without an appointment – Hall 7 remains open

Halls 4 and 5 at the Bremen vaccination centre are now closed. However, Hall 7 remains open for vaccination offers for all citizens of Bremen and Bremerhaven.

As of 9 August 2021, vaccinations against the coronavirus are being carried out exclusively in Hall 7 of the vaccination centre at Bürgerweide. Hall 7 is expected to remain open in its current form until the end of September. Plans for the continuation of vaccinations after September are currently underway. This includes decentralised vaccination services, such as through the mobile vaccination service, as well as vaccination services for seafarers. Senator for Health Claudia Bernhard offers assurance: ‘We will certainly not be stepping back from the vaccination campaign, but rather offering an adapted service.

All citizens of Bremen and Bremerhaven aged 18 or older are entitled to receive a vaccine in Hall 7 of the vaccination centre. The Moderna vaccine is available without prior appointment: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
You can simply stop by. Please bring your identification documents, health insurance card and vaccination certificate with you if you have them. The second vaccination will take place four weeks later. As no appointments are issued, longer waiting times are to be expected.
12 to 15-year-olds may also be vaccinated in Hall 7 – the vaccination offers will be issued by post.

In addition, regular vaccination appointments are available via the mobile vaccination service, where vaccination is offered without prior registration.

The same applies here: simply stop by. Please bring your identification documents, health insurance card and vaccination certificate with you if you have them. You can choose between the Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines here. In the case of the Moderna vaccine, you can either arrange a second vaccination in the vaccination centre or return to the location of the mobile vaccination service four weeks later. In the case of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, only one vaccination is necessary in order to be fully vaccinated. As no appointments are issued for this service either, longer waiting times are to be expected.

You can find out the current dates and locations of the mobile vaccination service on our website at any time.

You can also continue to arrange an appointment at the vaccination centre at https://impfzentrum.bremen.de.

3G* rule is now in effect

Due to the rising incidence rate of the coronavirus, the 3G* rule has come into effect in indoor spaces in the federal state of Bremen. 3G stands for ‘geimpft, genesen oder getestet’ in German and means that you should prove you are ‘fully vaccinated’, ‘recovered’ or have ‘tested negative’.
