Why get vaccinated?

Because it’s the best way out of the pandemic!

Us. You. Everyone. The more people who are vaccinated, the quicker Bremen will be immune to the coronavirus. This slows down the transmission rate, so the virus can no longer spread as easily. Vaccination protects against severe courses of the disease, as well as against hospitalisation and death.
By getting vaccinated, we are not only protecting ourselves, but also our family, friends, sports and club teams, and work colleagues. And if we continue to observe mask, distancing, testing and hygiene regulations, then Bremen against coronavirus will succeed.

Bremen expands its vaccination services

Bremen’s vaccination centres have been extremely successful. They are now being supported by vaccination practices, mobile vaccination teams and the vaccination Truck.

First and second vaccinations are still being offered in Hall 7 of the vaccination centre until 22 October. From this point forward, the cornerstone of the vaccination service will be the vaccination practices. The vaccination practice in Bremerhaven opened on 14 September, while three vaccination practices will soon open in Bremen. One vaccination practice in Bremen-North and one in Gröpelingen will open in mid-October, while another will open in Bremen-East in November.

The exact services offered by the vaccination practices and the mobile teams will be announced in due course. You can find the current dates of the mobile vaccination service here. [Please add link to appointments]

All citizens of Bremen aged 18 or older can now be vaccinated without an appointment in Hall 7 of the vaccination centre. Those aged 12 to 17 must make an appointment at www.impfzentrum.bremen.de and bring a declaration of consent with them from a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian must be present in the vaccination centre in case of those aged 12 to 15.
